Are US folks planning projects before January?

@aejolene

I think we need some more coordinated guidance and support from the digital library community. Last time I used the Internet Archive and now their services have been hit hard by a major cyber-attack.

We could also use some international #DataRescue help.

I'm interested in some of these approaches. It seems to have been used to make the Wikipedia available in Turkey during authoritarian take over there:

docs.ipfs.tech/concepts/ipfs-s

We can't "tech" our way out of authoritarianism, but some frameworks better reflect a set of values that can be helpful during this crisis.

@ekansa I went to datarescueDC in 2017. Now that we've had some practice, I'm interested in what worked and didn't. datarefuge.github.io/datarescu

Same! Again, I suspect we need more serious institutional support.

It would be good to get some #digitalrepository folks to help organize a more robust #dataresecue campaign.
