One indicator of how human bias is built into our nuclear technologies is that no protocols were ever designed for what to do if warfare breaks out around a nuclear power plant:

"Ukrainian nuclear plant shelled"

"damage in several places, including a radioactive waste and storage building, cooling pond sprinkler systems, an electrical cable to one of the reactors, condensate storage tanks, and to a bridge between another reactor and its auxiliary buildings."

Grossi says a safety barrier should be placed around , but that begs the question, only Zaporizhzhya? War will not break out near other plants? And a safety barrier will do...what?

These technologies exist within human society, not separate from them.
