I changed servers to #humanities commons and lost my #introduction post. So here's a repeat: I profess English in #Idaho (lit, tech comm, and comp). I write fiction and personal essays about the #AmericanWest. I study #literature of the American West, mostly 20th C fiction and film. My research interests include the study of #genre the concept and individual genres (especially #westerns and #gothic), settler colonialism, representations or #water and #aridity, #narrative, and #Dylan (Bob).
