Lá Fhéile Bríde sona daoibh! Happy St Brigit's Day, feast day of one of Ireland's patron saints and the traditional first day of spring in Ireland. I have a special grá (affection) for Brigit as a historical figure and because as a child I was taught by the Brigidine Sisters.
