I've created two characters intended to end up with Yaetherim. Neither of them are interested. One's ace. The other's his soulmate, but in a 'sister-he-never-had' way.

1000 words or so written and Annie-the-Cat has decided that's enough for today. She added a full line of ++++ to my WIP along with about four inches of blank space and is unhappy that I deleted her revisions. I'm closing the file before she decides to add more.
Writer's block today is literal. There is a cat standing in front of the computer monitor, blocking me from seeing what I am doing. Her body is blocking the keyboard. If I move her, she returns in a few minutes. If I put her out of the room, she cries at the door. Sigh.

As a writer I don’t hate many non-derogatory words, but, my friends, something has to fucking be done about twelfths.
When I write it, I have to fight my own fingers to stop from hitting more vowels. Every time I read it, I get lost, trying to weave my tongue around that oppressive number of consonants, pissing away precious time until I inevitably begin swearing like a pirate who just realized his last bottle of rum was actually LaCroix.
