Just heard from a friend that Express Scripts has refused to mail her prescription for Misoprostol. Not mifepristone, the medication currently embroiled in the court. The other one, for treating ulcers and softening the cervix to aid in the placement of IUDs.

Express Scripts is refusing to fill prescriptions for the uncontested, perfectly legal, Misoprostol.

@RudyDoesBooks

Could you share where this happened? Haven't seen any news about this yet.

@RudyDoesBooks
Curious, what state does she live in?
What was the reason given for refusal to fill the RX? Hope she immediately started a formal complaint process with Express Scripts. She should also also complain to her doctor and insurance company and even the Better Business Bureau. Please let us know how this turns out.

@Barbramon1 No reason given. I don't know if she'll follow up, she's decided to have some organs removed while she still can, given the timeline we live in.

That's America now. Rip 'em out while you can, before you can't, and you're forced to carry.

@RudyDoesBooks I understand that she may not feel like fighting this, but I hope she can, if not for herself, then for the sake of others.
Fighting huge corporations is exhausting. They count on most people giving up.
Best wishes for your friend.

@Barbramon1 Hopefully someone experiencing this will talk to a journalist, or a journalist will see the original post and get into it with Express Scripts.

Women are simply too *&!^%( exhausted to deal with this shit. They're just trying to not find themselves pregnant in Gilead.
