Trepidatious as to whether belong.

Not confident what myself do ranks as humanities. Does muckraking qualify? A philosophy with acrid aftertaste of social sciences?

Am one who makes sport of the sacred spherical cows that haunt our discursive zeitgeist.

Always had sense of humanities as hallowed—cloistered sanctum of stewards of archive—much unlike this here person setting fire to old manuscripts as performance art, a sacrilege perhaps best not performed in cathedral catacombs…

My particular focus tends to be in area of critical semantics and critical etymology—with attention to how currency of words set the boundaries of discourse, and in turn horizons of collective imagination, most prominently, the sociotechnical imaginary that is capitalist naturalism.

Might enjoy being in a community wherein such nitpickery and neologism, as are part and parcel of said mode of inquiry, are not immediately shut down with appeals to authority of the vernacular.
