Good morning! I am headed on a lightning fast trip to DC for the meeting, to discuss the commission’s report on the future of undergraduate education in research . It was an honor to have spent the last year-plus working with UERU and the other commissioners, and I hope that the recommendations we’ve put together help instill the conviction that and are deeply intertwined. No university today should consider itself excellent unless it is creating a truly equitable educational environment.
