One of my history teachers at uni said -- only about five years ago, referring specially to Riksarkivet -- that this is something that might never be possible.

@iju it still blows my mind! HTR went from being too hard to quite hard then a bit fiddly and now it's ordinary! It's still not perfect in all cases, but the progress is incredible

Also makes me feel a bit better about not quite getting hang of reading the Swedish scribes' handwriting. I could KIND OF do it in Finnish and English, but Swedish was always a coin toss.
