Have I missed any breakthroughs in workflows people are using for adding a new post on a static site from mobile?

I need markdown only, images nice to have but not super important, ideally avoiding a full hosted CMS solution. #11ty site on GitHub + Netlify fwiw.

I've done new files on GitHub mobile and drafted a PR that way, but it's not the most pleasant experience esp for composing front matter; better for editing an existing page.

@cassey Here's what I (admittedly very rarely) do, using GitHub Pages & Jekyll: ryanpatrickrandall.com/blips/p

It basically uses @WorkingCopy , which is an awesome Git app for iOS. I imagine there must be similar things if you're on Android?

Since that post, I've also added a snippet in Textastic (an iOS text editor) that will add the relevant front matter, so I don't have to copy & paste it over from another post.

Maybe you can have a similar template or snippet in Obsidian, then move that into Working Copy?

Hopefully this tiny info dump helps you figure out what'll work for you!

@ryanrandall @WorkingCopy thanks! There in fact is not an awesome git app on Android, for the most part, which is a big pain point for me!
