It feels like it's time to move on from pinboard for bookmarking. I'm looking for something that can create bookmarks from mastodon/bluesky posts and with a browser pop-up or shortcut. Any suggestions? What are others doing?
Ok, I'll give raindrop.io a go - IFFFT integrations are definitely a bonus!
I realised that the other thing I value is public bookmarks - being able to share them with others can be handy
@mia I've switched to Raindrop.io at the moment. Really good tools and lock-in can be avoided.
@mia Zotero handles Mastodon posts nicely on the browser on my computer. Not so good if you want to save posts from your phone I suppose....
@mia I also switched to raindrop.io after a brief encounter with Omnivore until they morphed into an ai platform. Very satisfied so far
